Many of you will already know everything in this video. However, since it is crucial and many more lessons will depend on this one, it will be a helpful review of the basic King & Pawn endings.

The video covers opposition, distant opposition, outflanking and others issues.

If you think you know how to queen a pawn in a King & Pawn ending, take the test. This is essential knowledge. If you don't answer all of them correctly, then please see the video. Remember beginners work until they can get it right, strong players work until they can't get it wrong.

Meeting Details

The Hult youth chess club meets every Friday night at the Schnucks Market at University & Glen in Peoria, 6:30 to 8:30pm in the Community Center just to the right of the Customer Service Counter.
